A wall traveling jib crane, also called a wall traveling cantilever crane or wall-running jib crane, travels horizontally along a dedicated wall-mounted track or I-beam, allowing long-distance material transfer.This type is especially useful in machining workshops, automotive plants, and fabrication halls.

  • Crane beam travels along a wall-mounted runway

  • Ideal for production lines requiring linear material handling. Greatly improves workflow efficiency along assembly lines

1. What is the difference between a fixed wall mounted jib crane and a wall traveling jib crane?

A fixed wall-mounted jib crane is installed on a wall or column and rotates within a fixed area. A wall-traveling jib crane, on the other hand, moves along a horizontal wall-mounted track, covering much longer distances. Both save floor space, but traveling models serve longer production lines.

2. Can a wall mounted jib crane rotate 360 degrees?

Wall-mounted models usually rotate-180° or 200° when mounted on a flat wall; 270° or 300° when mounted on a pillar; Full 360° is not possible unless attached to a special structural column designed for full rotation.

3. What wall conditions are required for installation?
